About the founder
Built by Halen Hickman-Goveia.
I started building Ascend Fitness because I wanted a simpler, smarter way to understand my health and performance. I was constantly using four different apps to track lifts, sleep, nutrition, and cardio, and it felt like none of them were designed to work together.
Over time, I realized that real fitness progress comes from everything working together. Your workouts affect your recovery, your sleep impacts your performance, and your nutrition shapes everything. But the tools I was using only showed fragments of the picture.
So I started building Ascend Fitness: a platform designed to bring all of those pieces together in one place. The goal is to help people track their journey more clearly, make better decisions, and ultimately ascend into the strongest version of themselves.
